FASEB Career Advancement and Research Excellence Support (CARES) provides financial support to alleviate financial burdens associated with caregiving, enabling FASEB society members to continue their scientific training, professional development, and career progression.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

• Primary caregivers
• U.S. citizens and/or individuals legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Members in good standing of at least one of FASEB’s full member societies
• Members of one (or more) historically excluded group(s) with a dependent care need.  “Historically Excluded Groups” are those for whom full rights and opportunities have been restricted based on their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and/or socioeconomic status.
